About a man.
The ORIMI Autumn/Winter 2026 collection is conceived from a line of thought tracing the outline of a person’s life.
Rather than presenting a clear narrative, it begins as an attempt to quietly observe the presence of a certain figure.
This figure feels partly like an extension of the designer himself, while at the same time resembling an anonymous man who might exist somewhere in the city.
Nothing particularly dramatic happens to him.
There is simply the passage of days, within which clothes quietly accumulate.
Clothes for everyday life.
Slightly more composed garments chosen when stepping outside.
And pieces that seem to belong to more ambiguous moments.
These are not separated into strict categories, but instead exist as a continuous wardrobe within the flow of a single person’s life.
ORIMI garments are placed within that continuity.
Not as products that assert themselves strongly, but as clothes that quietly exist within a person’s life.
In this context, clothing appears less as a symbol meant to explain something, and more like traces of presence or fragments of time.
They feel like real clothes, yet at times almost artificial.
Like extensions of everyday life, yet subtly displaced from it.
ORIMI garments exist within that ambiguous boundary.
ORIMI as a project can also be understood as an attempt to record the outline of a person’s life through clothing.
This season’s visuals are constructed by viewing this man’s wardrobe as a continuous passage of time.
The approximately twenty full-body portraits do not function as isolated stylings, but instead appear as fragments from the life of a single man.
At one moment they appear as everyday clothes.
At another, as slightly composed attire.
And at times, as garments that seem to drift slightly away from reality.
The shoot took place under the soft natural light of winter.
As the light gradually shifts throughout the day, its subtle changes overlap with the changing moods and atmosphere surrounding the figure, quietly revealing different expressions of the garments.
These images do not aim to describe specific scenes, but rather observe the passing time of a person’s life.
They attempt to capture clothing as something that exists within the extension of a man’s everyday life.
Here, garments do not speak loudly as the central subject.
Instead, they blend naturally into the person’s life, allowing only their outlines to gently emerge.
ORIMI garments exist somewhere between reality and fiction.
They may resemble the wardrobe of someone who actually exists, while at the same time appearing like a record of someone who does not yet exist anywhere.
This collection is a fragment of a man’s life, emerging from within that ambiguous distance. A study of a certain man.
